# Cara Setting 2FA Google Authenticator

**Two-factor Authentication (2FA) Google Authenticator** adalah mekanisme keamanan tambahan yang menggunakan aplikasi Google Authenticator untuk menghasilkan kode verifikasi unik dan sementara (OTP, One-Time Password) sebagai faktor kedua saat login ke dasbor WatZap.

Dengan mengaktifkan 2FA menggunakan Google Authenticator, Kamu dapat menambah lapisan perlindungan pada akun, melindungi data penting, dan meminimalkan risiko akses tidak sah.

Nah, untuk setting 2FA menggunakan Google Authenticator, Kamu bisa ikuti langkah-langkah berikut ini.

Pertama-tama, kamu bisa **kunjungi menu Account Settings** dan pilih **Two-factor Authentication**.

Lalu klik tombol **Turn On**.

Setelah itu, **scan barcode** atau **masukkan kode** yang muncul seperti di bawah ini di **aplikasi Google Authenticator** yang ada di HP Kamu.

Jika berhasil scan barcode atau masukkan kode, maka akan muncul kode 6 digit. Kemudian, kamu bisa masukkan kode 6 digit tersebut ke kolom yang ada dibawah ini. Setelah itu, klik tombol Verify & Enable.

Maka akan muncul notifikasi berhasil seperti ini. Klik tombol **OK**.

### Cara Login pakai Google Authenticator

Jika kamu mengaktifkan 2FA Google Authenticator, maka  saat login ke dalam dasbor WatZap kamu akan diminta input kode.

Kamu bisa masukkan 6 digit kode yang ada di aplikasi **Google Authenticator** pada HP Kamu dan klik tombol **Verify**. Selesai.

### Cara Non-aktifkan 2FA Google Authenticator

Jika ingin non-aktifkan 2FA Google Authenticator, kamu bisa klik kunjungi menu **Account Settings**. Pilih  **Two-factor Authentication** dan klik tombol **Turn Off.**

Klik tombol Turn Off.

Masukkan password akun WatZap kamu dan klik tombol Confirm Turn Off.
